Government Industrial Training Institute Jharsuguda was established in 2014 with the aim of providing skilled in Odisha to the society for industries requirement as well as self employment opportunities for the youth by giving them Industrial Training. We provide a rich learning environment where all instructors focus not only on course contents to gain knowledge and understanding of the concepts but also developing other life skills, sports, social services which help the trainees to be a better citizen."

About The Institute
The Programme of capacity expansion of vocational training system in Govt. sector was taken up at the beginning of 12th Five year plan period which includes establishment of new Govt. ITIs at the unserviced districts with basic objectives to equip the local youths with required skill suitable for their wages/self employment. In view of it Govt. of Odisha decided in the year 2013 to establish an Industrial Training Institute for Jharsuguda district under the Craftsman training pattern with a view to facilitate the employment youths and school drop outs to be equipped with skill training appropriate for their employment/self employment in the emerging industrial scenario of the state…
