The evolution of Government Industrial Training Institute Jharsuguda over the past six years has witnessed a strong blend of state-of-the-art infrastructure and a commitment to provide technical training with thrust on creativity and innovation. The motivating environment in Govt. ITI Jharsuguda has developed skill development with a sense of social responsibility and human values.

We provide a rich learning environment where all trainers focus not only on course contents to gain knowledge and understanding of the concepts but also developing other life skills, sports, social activities which help the trainees to be a better citizen.

Technical Education has been the backbone of the new world and it continues to be so. Government Industrial Training Institute Jharsuguda was established in 2014 with the aim of providing a World-class skilled workforce in Odisha to the society for industries requirement making them employable as well as entrepreneurship opportunities for the youth by giving them Industrial training with employability skills.

The Govt. ITI is located in the district headquarter of Jharsuguda. This institute was established at Jharsuguda engineering school campus. Later in the year 2016, it shifted to the new building close to Doordarsan Centre spreading over 12 acres of land. Initially, only two trades, Electrician and Fitter where functioning under NCVT pattern with the capacity of 42 numbers of trainees. Later another two engineering trades Welder and MMV were added to training in the year 2019. Recently a Non-engineering trade Dress Making was added to training in the year 2021.
